Just returned from a mid field, blizzard buffeted hoof clinic. Hands now mottled with iodine yellow and blue from the cold, but at least Ruby’s painful foot has been trimmed and dosed and will revert to smelling earthy and normal again rather than like halitosis.
I must tell you about my new toy, on loan from Inga. We call it “Leila the Lamborghini”. It is a spinning wheel with GEARS!! It is sitting proud in my studio in front of “Old Dear” (inherited from Mum, made in the 70’s and warped from too many years in a damp shed.) Spinning on Leila is an absolute delight and can lead to many hours ignoring what actually needs to be done. Look – I am making leg warmers (above) and chai!
The rest of the time i am obsessing over politics on both sides of the atlantic and run up fabric samples for potential commissions in Ardnamurchan.
