It seems notonthehighstreet are with Yorick on this one and fail to see any merit in animals on lampshades. Having bust a gut designing, photographing and listing the complete range for assessment by the “curation team” I last night read that my products do not fit with their innovative and forward thinking curation policy. Yikes that smarts!
So, barber shop stags, golden crows and hares with dog tooth ears are clearly not their cup of tea – fair enough – they’re not going to appeal to everyone but Owwwww!
It seems chrome, orange, vintage bulbs and lamps fashioned from plumbing are the way to go as “country” has become a dirty word in the urban corridors of NOTHS. Ironic that as I design this range with a Country Living buyer in mind, my selling portal is shunning them. Hey ho, I’ll be giving this wayward bunch an airing on Amazon Handmade, Etsy and my website and we’ll see whether I should have bypassed my inner design devil and listened to Yorick in the first place.
