My studio has effectively turned in to a padded cell, piled to the brim with cushions of all shapes and sizes. If I did take the notion to self harm I would have some difficulty for the amount of feather down. Still, there’s always the scissors…

Not long now and they’ll be gone, Hurray!!

Greeny silk cushions and a throw, in progress.

The silk cushions are now complete and this afternoon’s task was three more Mogwaii felt cushions and two lamps.

Apart from being my favourite read of all time, selvedge magazine is just perfect for weighting down the glued disk on the moth moon lamp before it is sewn.

Fronts done, now they need zips and labels

It looks so serene Sarah. Do you work alone in your studio or have help? I love a studio environment where you can feel inspired, whether you’re pottering or hurrying!
