My studio has effectively turned in to a padded cell, piled to the brim with cushions of all shapes and sizes. If I did take the notion to self harm I would have some difficulty for the amount of feather down. Still, there’s always the scissors…
Not long now and they’ll be gone, Hurray!!
The silk cushions are now complete and this afternoon’s task was three more Mogwaii felt cushions and two lamps.

Apart from being my favourite read of all time, selvedge magazine is just perfect for weighting down the glued disk on the moth moon lamp before it is sewn.
And today’s view… from the workshop deck

Comment by Gigibird September 24, 2008 @ 9:11 pmIt looks so serene Sarah. Do you work alone in your studio or have help? I love a studio environment where you can feel inspired, whether you’re pottering or hurrying!
