I love this. It reminds me of my friend Collette’s little girl Orla, who was only ever interested in sucking the labels on her soft toys. Strange but true. It’s obviously a more common phenomenon than I had thought.
This great blanket was made by a designer I have just stumbled upon in etsy called Kucababy.
I love her stuff. Almost makes me feel broody again.

Wey Hey – Seamus has been included in an etsy treasury named Baaaaaaaa and chosen by hmsdesign.
Apparently, he was the inspiration for the above treasury. How cool is that?
All this fame might go to his head if it weren’t for the imminent journey he is about to embark on. He is sitting in the post office as we speak with a postal tag for Germany. They have buttercups there don’t they…oh I’m sure he’ll love it. Sad to say goodbye though.
For those of you wanting to check out the treasury pics click on Seamus.
Bye Seamus!

No rest for the wicked.
Back to work this afternoon with Etsy orders taking priority.
I love the journey back to Lismore. Especially this bit. I had to get out the car and walk a bit. This part of the world is too special to just drive past! Sometimes we skate or just skid over the ice on our bums on the rare occassion that the temperature really drops low.
This weekend offered a welcome diversion from textiles and tidying with an opportunity to exercise my other passion…music. Mairi and me were asked to harmonise on a couple of tracks for Andi Neate’s next album. We all met in good time at the studio, figured out our various parts and then entered in to the foam encased world of the recording studio. All in all a pretty good session, a bit of reverb and some levelling and the Andrew sisters can eat their heart out – or have the worms done that already?
If you’re wondering what Andi sounds like click on the images above for a link to her my space page.
