Tom was off school yesterday…bank holiday or something. Our van is off the island getting a much needed medical so we are either on bike or foot or hitching. Weather was cold and very windy but we wrapped up like eskimos and faced the elements to get to the studio.

So, he was with me in the workshop while I attempted to tackle a pretty big mound of paperwork. I attempted child labour hoping he might sort some receipts for me but no such luck! However, we had a lovely day and the best bit was getting home. Tom was obviously not wild about the idea of cycling back in the dark (pot holes and all), so we decided to leave the bikes and walk over the hill. It was lovely! we sang and ran and rolled and tumbled and the orange sky as the sun went down over Ardnamurchan was beautiful.

For those of you wondering where your beret, scarf ,wrap is after ordering at ‘Origin’. It’s coming! emerging from my scissors and sewing machine. Infact, by now it is , most likely made and waiting in a bag to be labled and sent. The boxes which I ordered three weeks ago havn’t arrived yet courtesy of some Viking cock up, so I’ve badgered them about this and they have promised to send them FAST, just hope they arrive with the Mull builders (our courier) delivery tomorrow.
Once all the orders are off to their rightful owners I will be able to get back to working on a very exciting quilt project which I will tell you more about later.
|Right now too tired after a long day of making, making.
